I love the spine. I love telling people how important it is. I mean, it’s really darn near everything when it comes to whole body health.
The spine goes in four directions. It has lateral movement, flexion when you forward fold, extension when you back bend and axial rotation when you twist.
The problem comes when you aren’t regularly moving in all these directions. That’s where yoga comes in. Can I tell you again? Your spine is everything! It conducts the messages to every muscle. And most people let it settle like concrete.
Today, move that spine! Think about all directions and just see how often you rotate, back bend, and notice all the forward bending. Take care of your spine and I promise it will take care of you.
