Here I am again, already back for more. It almost feels like I never left. It’s kind of nice, I’ve been working so hard on my dialog since I left the first training that it feels like the yoga never stopped.
I just want to take one minute to focus on the word “immersion.” There has to be a benefit to putting yourself into something hard, something you want, and being all in. 100%. Is there anything nowadays that you are 100% in?
Even your kids, your significant other? Do you put down your phone and give it your full attention?
That’s what this has been for me, everything can wait. Nothing is needed to be attended to at this second. Okay, maybe babies. But otherwise we rarely take our attention away from the useless to focus our entire being into what we are doing. The biggest thing I have learned in training is that focus and concentration has value. But immersion can change your definition.
Here, you eat yoga, you dream Sanskrit. Nothing else matters and somehow I that you find a deep focus and reverence for your purpose. What is your purpose? Do you focus on it or completely immerse yourself in it. Live it. Breath it. Eat it. When there is nothing left but the present; you can’t help but embrace it and fall completely into it.
