There are things in life that feel natural, you feel like your best self when you do them. For me. That’s the run.
Today I ran 25 minutes in the water. Running feels like I am flying. I am making my own wind. I feel the burn in my legs propelling me forward. It is one of the most freeing wonderful feelings in the world.
I’ve thought a lot about running as “running away” but for me, it is definitely running forwards. Tackling what is ahead of me in full force. ‘m
The pain just makes me run that much harder. As if I want to show it that it can’t stop me. I’m addicted to that feeling. The last year since I really ran, I’ve had to find other things to fill that. But there is something about running. Something alive about it. Your whole body working in harmony.
And you just fly.
